A grand hotel at 10,152 feet
Built during the silver boom and still standing on the corner of Harrison Avenue, the Delaware has been putting up travelers since 1886. The lobby is marble, brass and leather. The rooms upstairs are iron beds, tall windows and the whole of the Sawatch Range out the glass.
The rooms
Thirty six, and no two alike
Queens, kings, doubles and two-bedroom suites, all on the second and third floors, all with their own character. Photos are representative and your exact room may differ.

Four posters and exposed brick in some, morning light in all of them, and room to spread out.
Downstairs
The lobby bar
Chesterfields, chandeliers and a long bar just off the lobby. The easiest place in town to land after a day on the pass, and the last stop before the stairs.
Arriving
Someone is always at the desk
Check in with a person, not a kiosk. The desk is staffed around the clock, and if you are rolling in late off the pass, call ahead and we will be waiting for you. Check in from 4:00 pm, check out by 11:00 am.

Fifteen fourteeners within a morning’s drive, Ski Cooper ten minutes up the road, Turquoise Lake, the Mineral Belt Trail, and a Victorian main street that starts at our front door.
